Sorry for the lack of posting lately… I have been cooking I promise! This is one of my favorites out of the Pioneer Woman’s book and definitely one of the fastest. We got home and put the car in park at 5:39. We were eating at 6:04 and that included walking in and putting our stuff down…
Start with 3 thin cut pork chops. Salt and pepper both sides of them and set aside. In a low bowl or plate, using a fork or whisk, mix 1/2 C flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp season salt, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp black pepper (next time I might also add 1/4 tsp paprika because I think it would taste good). Dip each pork chop in the flour mixture on both sides then set aside.
Open the can of green beans and dump the juice. Pour them into a small pot and add some butter (about 2 tbsp ish). Turn the heat to simmer and stir it every once in a while and let’s start the pork chops. In a medium skillet, over medium, heat 1/4 C olive oil and 1 tbsp butter till melted. Once hot, add the pork chops and cook 2-3 minutes on each side.
By the time those are done, the green beans will be hot and the butter melted. Serve it up and enjoy!
