He simply put an “everything” rub on it and let it come to room temperature while the BBQ was heating up. While hat was happening, I took about 3 tbsp room temperature butter in a small bowl, added about 1 tbsp garlic and a pinch of parsley flakes, then whipped it with a whisk till it was well combined and fluffy.
Once he put the steaks on the grill, over medium heat, I washed the broccolini and prepared it by cutting off the bottom ends, and putting it into my Tupperware steamer thing with a little water and some butter (could also be steamed or blanched on the stove). After the steaks had been flipped and cooked perfectly on both sides to medium, just the way we like them, he let them rest for about 5 minutes. While the steaks were resting, I microwaved the broccolini for about 2 1/2 minutes.
Serve the steaks with the broccolini on the side and the garlic butter either in the side or on top of the steak. It was great over the broccolini too. Enjoy!
