This was super easy and really tasty! I found this on Pinterest and will forever make this as pizza when I don’t want to do all the work of a normal pizza.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Cut the loaf of French bread in half and leave open faced. Melt about half a stick of butter and 4 cloves of garlic minced in a small dish. Using a pastry brush, spread the melted butter and garlic on both insides of the bread (the open face sides). Spread some pizza sauce on both sides, about 2-3 cups total (I used Boboli pizza sauce). Spread about 3 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over them. Top as desired. I used pepperoni and black olives, but the Pinterest one shows pepperoni and a little bit with jalapenos. Pop it in the oven and back for about 8-15 minutes (till the bread is a bit brown and cheese is fully melted.
We cut this into strips to make it easier to eat, and we love the butts of the bread so I saved that piece for last… Enjoy!
