I found this on Pinterest and it actually turned out really good. It was a nice twist on normal tacos, especially if you don’t want to get your stove all greasy from the shells splattering. This is the site with the instructions: https://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/taco-pinwheels/f55a4f16-0eb5-4a9d-ac5b-d75cd03b7ab7.
Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees, then brown about 1/2 lb ground beef in a medium skillet with a packet of taco seasoning (I like McCormick personally). Drain then set aside. Here is where I shredded some Cheddar and Pepper Jack cheese, but you can get the pre-shredded cheese if you prefer. Then open the package of Pillsbury Pizza Dough and roll it out to make it a little bigger all the way around so its a nice rectangle. Sprinkle the taco meat over the pizza dough. Sprinkle about 1 cup (plus a little if you are me) of cheese over the meat. Carefully roll it up starting from the long side. Using a serrated knife, cut into about 1″ rolls (recipe says it makes 18, but I only made about 12.. I guess my inches were bigger than theirs). Lay them out carefully on a greased baking sheet (or a parchment paper lined one like I did). Bake for about 10-12 minutes or till golden brown.
While those are cooking, I chopped up lettuce, grabbed the sauces and sour cream I like, and made sure we had some extra cheese for the top. This is where you can get together anything you like on your tacos.
Once they are done, serve immediately with desired toppings and enjoy!
