This was a find from Pinterest for those of you who are concerned about raw eggs in cookie dough but love the taste, perhaps are pregnant, or might even want to make your own cookie dough ice cream if you have an ice cream maker. These are NOT for baking, just for eating!
In a medium bowl, mix together 3/4 C brown sugar, 1/4 C butter softened, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and 1/4 C milk (I used whole milk because that’s what we drink). In a separate smaller bowl, mix 1 C flour and a pinch of salt. Add the flour mixture to the butter and sugar mixture and combine. After a little bit it really starts to look like cookie dough. Add 1/2 C chocolate chips and stir till they are mixed through. Using a cookie scoop, I scooped them into portions and then into the fridge.
They are ok same day, but a little gritty because of the sugar. They are much better the next day! The next day I put it into the freezer and take one as I feel like it. So yummy! Enjoy!
